General Term & Conditions
- All prices are shown in U.S. dollars ($USD).
- All orders to be processed within approximately one to two “business” days; provided the items are in stock and there are no problems with the payment verification.
- Orders will not be processed on weekends and holidays. Orders placed on Friday will be shipped on the Next Monday even air shipment.
- In order to process your order in a timely manner, we strongly recommend you to use the same address for your shipping address and billing address. Otherwise, your order will be delayed for further verification.
- Shipping method is determined by the size and weight of each item. Items of differing size and weight may ship independently, by different methods, even if ordered together. Most items will be sent UPS.
- We DO NOT accept any customer’s own shipping account (FedEx, UPS, DHL, or other carriers) for any order.
- We guarantee that all items are in original manufacturer condition upon arrival. In the event that an item is damaged in transit, an insurance claim will be filed with the shipping carrier and the item will either be replaced or repaired. If the merchandise arrived by UPS, we must be contacted within 48 hours. Contact us immediately if such a case occurs. If the merchandise is delivered by a freight carrier, it must be inspected upon delivery and any damage must be noted on the delivery documents.
USA Shipping
Our terms of sale are F.O.B shipping points unless specified on the other side. The carrier is wholly responsible for damage in transit
All shipments require a physical address. We DO NOT ship to P.O. Box, Military Address (APO/FPO), Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. Protectorates such as Puerto Rico, Guam, Virgin Island.
For Free Ground Shipping promotion, we will ship by United State Post Service (USPS).
On any package over $200.00 in value, Sunmax Lighting requires an adult signature.
International Shipping
International orders (shipped outside the United States) normally require 7-15 days for delivery. Please be advised international orders can sometimes be delayed in customs. Be sure to check your shipment tracking number (provided via email when the order ships) for delivery status.
We cannot deliver to international post office boxes. A street address is required for international delivery. By accepting these terms & conditions, you agree that you are not providing a Post Office Box address for your shipment. In the event that your shipment is returned to us as undeliverable due to an international PO Box address, we will not be responsible for refunding shipping costs. We do not accept returns for items shipped internationally.
Items in your order that are designated for shipment to countries outside of the U.S. may be subject to taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country (“Import Fees”). The recipient of the shipment is the importer of record in the destination country and is responsible for all Import Fees.
We are not responsible for products confiscated by the legal authorities of your country or state; we advise you to check your local laws in advance, before ordering, if you suspect that your country bans any products.
If you refuse a shipment from Sunmax Lighting, you are responsible for the original shipping charges, any Import Fees that are incurred on the package, and the cost of returning the package to Sunmax Lighting. This amount will be deducted from your merchandise refund.
*Please Note* – If you are not able to select your country in the shipping field at checkout, this means that we unfortunately do not offer shipping to that country at this time. We apologize for any inconveniences.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refundsIf you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at {email address}.
Sale itemsOnly regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at {email address} and send your item to: {physical address}.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.
Shipping returns
To return your product, you should mail your product to: {physical address}.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
